Company Timeline

1979 - ads infinitum Founded
ads infinitum made its inauspicious debut in the spare bedroom. The name was derived from the Latin ad infinitum which translated means on and on to infinity, without limit. We loved the meaning, though little did we realize how prophetic their meaning would prove to be. The promotional products industry exploded over the next twenty years with "logo advertising products" a virtual mass media phenomenon, indeed limitless.

1984 - Moved to first office
After five years we took the plunge and moved to our first office on Oberlin Road by Cameron Village. By now our first outside salesperson had been hired and the entrepreneurial spirit was beginning to take hold. A secretary was added and the sales team hit the pavement to grow the business.

1985 - ads infinitum's first showroom
A year later, it was time for more space and our first showroom, We rented an office on Washington Street, set up a nice showroom and added a third salesperson. Sales were looking great and we had signed our 200th customer.

1987 – Another move
Two years later, we outgrew our office and moved down the street to 302 Jefferson Street to accommodate an 800 square foot showroom and additional stafft. With a solid history of providing complete solutions for our clients we now had the space to illustrate our award winning ideas.

1991 - An award-winning year
A great year indeed. We were recognized with an ADDY award and a National Silver medal from the Promotional Products Association International.

1998 - Achieved multi-million dollar sales
With almost twenty years of experience, over 750 clients, and our multi-million dollar sales achievement we were proud of ourselves and our ability to match each one of our products and concepts with the needs of our clients.

2004 - Celebrated 25 years
It is now our twenty-fifth anniversary and we still pride ourselves in making each client feel as if they are the only one. Like any successful venture, no one person can take full credit. Thanks to all of the dedicated sales and support people who shared the dream and to all of the clients who have had confidence in our ability to perform. We hope, like our name, to go on and on endlessly producing great looking merchandise delivered on time, every time.

2008 - Welcomed fresh ideas
Closing in on 30 years in the business, ads infinitum continues to live up to its name, with infinite potential for our own growth as well as for each of our clients. The addition of new president Spencer Meymandi brings a wealth of business experience and creative talent to the team. We continue to maintain our mission of understanding our customers' fundamental values and helping them build and reinforce their brand. Under Spencer's leadership, we are looking forward to continued growth and service - ad infinitum

2010 – Moved to New Offices in Glenwood South entertainment district
Fresh new digs with a fresh new showroom in Raleigh’s vibrant & creative Glenwood South District. The bright and cheery office matches our company brand and disposition.
